Bi-Fold Closet

Home Owner from Bloomfield, NJ
Both bi-fold doors in the picture get stuck due to a worn and dented track.  I'd like to replace the top and bottom tracks.  It's 48" wide.  I'm just wondering if the tracks you sell are compatible with these doors.
Also, the doors don't close flat because the 3 existing hinges are rusty and have been painted over.  Would I be able to remove the 3 hinges and replace them with the top and bottom highes that you sell?
Thanks.

Hello,

It looks like you have an old Float-A-Way bi-fold door. The tracks are no longer available and the pins still in inventory are dwindling. To use the new-style tracks related on this page, you'll need to replace the pins as well. Below are generic replacement directions:

For a four-foot opening, you will need two 21-404 tracks. The tracks come with the pivot bracket and rubber bumper. For the bottom corner adjusting pivot pin, you will need two of the 21-002. This pin will raise and square up your doors. For the top pivot pin, as well as the bottom and top spring-loaded pins, you will need six. We have closet door hinges you might be able to install on your doors, which would be the 23-405. Thanks for posting!
