BiFold Door

Quick Learner from USA
I have a top pivot bracket on a bi fold door that doesn't hold anymore. The problem that I have is everything that I've bought or found online is 5/8" wide. This house was built in '64, so the pieces that it needs are only 1/2" wide. Any idea where I can get something 1/2" wide? Bending the 5/8" piece didn't work.
I've attached a photo of the bracket that I currently have.  As you can see the framing is starting to get beat up pretty quickly with my kids and I having to keep putting the door back on.  There are two metal plates that are 1/2" wide with a screw on once end and a plastic C clamp between the other side of the two plates.  The C clamp has a broken piece, therefor the dood keeps falling out of the clamp.  I've checked online and in stores with no luck of a replacement part.  I contacted a friend of mine that I hoped had a different direction for me to take, and he suggested your website.  I got on there but couldn't find anything that may have worked.  I'm open to other suggestions as well if you have any suggestions.  Thank you again for your time.

Hello,

Unfortunately, your pivot bracket is not available. May we see the door pins that engage with the bracket? That would help us confirm if a different style track might work for your repair Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to us but these look like the same parts shown in your original photos. We'll need to see the pins that anchor the door to the track.

I apologize for the pictures, I was sending the pictures requested through the email and not this discussion. Here is the picture that you asked for. Sorry for any confusion.

Thank you that photo was a great help. We can offer a new bifold door kit, including a top track and bottom pivot bracket with new fittings. You will need one of the top tracks, see the 23-461 and additional length options related on this page depending on the length you need. They come with a top bracket and track stop. You will also need a new bottom pivot bracket, the 23-292. The fittings will be the 23-144 bottom pivot, 23-182 top pivot, and 23-266 pivot guide. Please review and let us know if you need anything else.
