Bifold Door Pivot

Question

This is the top pivot for a bifold door. The nylon nut is stripped and therefore I am unable to make a tightening adjustment.  I would love to be able to replace the nut (1/2" x 1/2") with a metal one but go with nylon if that's the only option. I'll go for replacing the entire assembly if need be

Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm afraid we don't sell anything like what you show here. If all you want is a sturdier nut then you ought to be able to find something at a local hardware store. I am very sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions.
