Please help me find a replacement part. See the picture for the part fitting into the top of a closet bi-fold door. It may date to the '50s. The top edge of the nylon wheel sits inside the channel above the door. The channel is attached to the bottom of the door frame. The lower edge of the wheel is LARGER in diameter than the top of the wheel to hold and guide the door along the channel.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Here are the dimensions I obtained using a digital micrometer. The conversion to fractions may be a bit rough:
Top of wheel diameter: .825" = 13/16"
Bottom of wheel diameter: .932 =15/16"
Track inside width varies: .850 " = 7/8"= 14/16"
.844" = 7/8 "
Diameter of the base mechanism inside the top of the door: .45" = 7/16"
Diameter of the top of the base unit sitting atop the door: .77" = 3/4"
It looks similar to your model
23-172 top guide. What do you suggest?
Thank you again,
RR
