My home is 25 years old and some BiltBest window hand cranks need replaced.
What is the best way to identify the window hand crank to insure correct order/replacement??? Is there a model number? Does the age of home help identify the BiltBest window hand crank??
Thank you in advance for your response.

Thanks for posting in our discussion board, and for the quality pictures! Please take a look at our 39-031 EntryGard Dual Arm Operator, which looks very similar to your sample. Be sure to match up the dimensions to make sure it will work.

There Is a BiltBest hardware cover in one of the pictures provided. Is the color bronze??
Thank you for your quick response.

That does not appear to be the bronze that we provide. Rather, it seems to be a specific Anderson color. The corresponding operator cover for the 39-031 is our 39-107 Truth Harware Operator Cover, which only comes in white, bronze, dark bronze, and beige. I apologize for the inconvenience.

If the original cover and handle are in good shape, you may be able to reuse the original cover and handle. If the original cover and handle are not in good shape or do not work with the new hardware, the white cover and handle should look less noticeable with the white window and white sill.
