what is the backset?

I'm looking for a new black handle/latch for a storm door 1-1/8 inch thick, 1-3/4 inch between holes and a 1 inch backset.

The distance from the door jamb to the mounting screws on the 40-033 is 5/8". Take a look at the related video on the 40-032 with the 1-1/2" hole spacing, as well. This lock set is very similar to yours. That might help you determine if the 40-033 will work on your storm door.

Also take a look at the 40-152 handle set. This uses the 40-117 inside handle. This might be closer to 1" being that the inside latch sticks out further.
