We'd be happy to look into this for you but we'll need a bit more information to narrow down your options. If you could show us the connecting point between the spring and pulley inside the metal channel, that would help us confirm if our stock balances could work for your repair or if they would need to be special ordered. If the bottom fitting is broken, we'll also need to see an intact version to confirm the correct replacement. Thank you!

Thanks.  The odd thing is this unit does not appear to be broken at least by my untrained eye.  The issue was it had slipped off the bottom of the sash so when when you opened the window it stayed down.

Thanks for getting back to us. Your balance resembles the S395-28 with 2730 strength options.

I'd also recommend checking to see if the top sash guides that hold the balances below the sash are intact. If not, they would shoot above the sash when installed

We also offer the non-tilt balance installation video below, showing how the pulley hook is attached to the jamb. Take a look to ensure the original balances were installed correctly.
