Block and Tackle Window Balance 26 4 IV CMC 9

Question

Hello:  We have single hung windows that need replacements balances; could you recommend an appropriate balance?  Please find photos of the markings, as well as views of each end.  Thanks in advance.

This looks like either an S380-27 or S385-27. The difference between these two balances is the bottom nylon shoe depth. The picture below illustrates this. Compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. You will need a stamp option of 2640.
