Block and Tackle Window Balance

What do you have in stock as a replacement part for my block and tackle load balance....the length of the metal is 30 inches...it is stamped as 29-3 and only one side appears to have wings....see photos...thanks Bob

It looks like you have our S395-30 channel balance with a spring strength option of 2930.

would it be a show stopper if my top was not winged?

It might not be the end of the world, but to be honest I can see some problems that might arise. The reason some balances have those wings is in those cases where the track in the window is a little wide. Without the wings to keep the balance even, it might shift from side to side, which would cause your window to wobble when you open and close it.

It's ultimately up to you but given the circumstances I see no reason why you shouldn't just stick with the S395-30.
