Block and tackle 26-3. This Window Balance has a shoe with a pulley in the shoe itself.

Need to find out where I can order a replacement balance. It is a block and tackle type balance with a shoe containing a pulley wheel. The number stamped on the rail is 26-3 and another rail is stamped with a 29-3, obviously from different windows. I see a lot of similar balancers with pulleys in the rail, but none have a pulley wheel in the shoe and in the rail.

If you have not done so already, remove the balance from the window and upload photos for us to see. We will determine which replacement to recommend.

Thanks for the reply. We can replace this balance for you, but it will have to be a custom order due to its unique design. Keep in mind that the hook on your old balances will differ from these; you have an older version, but these replacements should work just the same.
