Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. Take a look at our S380-27 or S385-27 channel balances. One of these appears to be what you may need. Measure as shown below to determine the accordant Series. There should also be a stamp printed on the metal channel that will indicate what option is needed for your replacements.

I measured that part and it is 1.26 inches/32mm at the widest (from outside of fins) measuring it from in the channel recess (below the hook) its 1". I can't tell from where the black line is placed in the diagram which I am supposed to measure. It is stamped 26-5.

Can you also help me identify this part that attaches to the top of the sash in the channel I need to replace. It is 1 3/4 inches tall, 5/8 wide, including the top square it is 5/8 deep but the longest lower portion is 3/8" deep. Thanks

My apologies for the confusion. Please see the image below and let me know if this clarifies things.

The top sash guide shown here is no longer made but the 18-171 may work for you. You would just need to cut the top down since ours is a little taller. Take a look and see what you think.

I also recommend the 2650 stamp option based on your old stamp.

thank you. Two questions:

1. my measurement of the balance bottom shoe is slightly larger than than the S385 measurement you provided (1 1/4 vs 1 3/32). Should this work for me?

2. regarding the sash guide, is the top square necessary? On mine, the top square broke off, but the sides and bottom wedge are fine. If I get the replacement you suggested and cut the top down it loos like it would not have a flat top anymore. Would that still work?

Thanks

I'm sorry to say we don't sell a balance with the shoe depth you need. The Series 385 appears to be the best we can offer but we can't promise the functionality or a direct fit. I've linked our return policy here just in case.

As for the top sash guide, I'm afraid it won't work without the top "square" so cutting the top down for the 18-171 is necessary.
