Question

I have a large window in which the window balance system broke. The metal channel is 27" long. The window measures 58" tall to 50" wide. I need to order two window balances. One for left side and one for right.

Thank you for your patience during our busy season. With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-27 or S385-27 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

The stamp on your metal channel is outdated, so you'll need to weigh your sash on a scale to determine the appropriate spring strength option. There's a chart on the S380 and S385's store page that will show you which option you'll need based on the weight of your sash.
