I'm afraid you can't cut or drill into the glass as it's tempered, but you shouldn't have to anyway. There should be two holes in your glass from where the old 10-081 installed. Refer to the image below. If you did not have the 10-081 installed in your door before, then it will not work for you now. This is meant to be a direct replacement.
