Brittle Window screen clips

Question

Hello, we've installed some clips last year.  Sadly, 2 have already snapped.  This plastic material is too brittle for this application.  Maybe you can talk to your manufacturer.

I'm sorry about the problems that you are experiencing. In the past, people have had success replacing the Malta screen latch with our 70-204 slip-on latch, which is more durable. You can install the bail screw latch on the side or bottom of the screen. Please let us know if you have any more questions or concerns. Thank you.
