Hi,
Don't know the name But both sides have snapped. Bottom part has "Pat 5.353.548" on it. Top coil is 1/2 inch wide and has "4 50V (U?)" mark.
Also need tilt latches
Hope you pros can identify these parts?
Thanks,

Thanks for posting, Silvio. The damaged part in question is known as a coil balance. Yours in particular looks like our Series 180Since your old spring had a mark of 4 on it, then our S180-4 is what you want. This is compatible with the 15-087 pivot shoe. You may be able to reuse your old shoe as long as it isn't damaged.

It also looks like you need a new tilt latch, but I cannot identify what you have from this photo. I recommend looking at our 26-243 and 26-244 first. Carefully compare these to an undamaged version of your latch from another window. That will confirm whether these will work as replacements or not.

Thanks for the response Tom!
Do I need a tandem coil housing? I never saw one on either side of the window jambs, but noticed that it's on a diagram with my hardware. Also, is there a video showing how to attach the coil to the pivot shoe, (and tandem coil housing if needed?)
Thanks so much!

Hello again! If your window only uses one spring on each side of the sash, then you don't need the tandem housing. Our diagram is just an example; one spring per side is perfectly fine.

As for attaching the spring to the shoe, the 15-087 splits into two pieces and then sandwiches over the spring. The Series 180 rests inside the shoe. When the shoe is snapped back together then it will be held snugly in place.
