Broken Door Handle

A quick learner from Minnesota says:
I broke my old door handle and am looking for a replacement. The number is 060-1255. I had done a search and it said 82-035 was the replacement, however the locking mechanism is not correct. Please advise. The inside of the handle says Sash Controls Inc. Ferndale 20, Mich. 060-1255.

Thanks for writing in. You're right, I don't think the 82-035 is what you're looking for. You have a very specific kind of handle set for which there are just a few kinds of styles. See the 82-055, which has a hole spacing of 3-1/2", as well as the 82-003, which has a hole spacing of 3-15/16". See if one of these is what you need.
