Broken Double Pulley

My home was built in 1989 with single hung, non-tilting windows, which are marked as Alcan. The channel balance measures 1/2" both directions. The attached two photograph are of the broken double pulley. This double pulley is the interface between the coil spring and the sash rope. Where the arrow is pointing to is where the coil spring connects and the metal broken. All your efforts on my behalf are greatly appreciated

This looks like the pulley on a channel balance. I'm afraid you cannot replace or repair this in any way. The inner workings of a channel balance, like the pulley and rope system and the spring, are very precisely calibrated for the purpose of moderating the operation of your sash. These can only be installed at the manufacturing plant where they were made. If any of these components have broken, you need an all new balance.

We can help, but we will need to see some pictures of the balance itself. I'd like to see the top and bottom of the metal channel (especially any nylon attachments installed there, if any), and a picture of the stamp printed on it. From there, we can work on what you need as a replacement.
