Broken Pella Crank

Home Owner from Weehawken

Hi There:

I live in a rented apartment so I am not too familiar with the windows but understand from the buikding management i have a Pella Window and this is a Pella Window crank.

As you can see it is broken. I want to open the window but I am scared it is going to snap and break and then I cant close it.

I need two things please.

To identify the right crank to order from you and a recommendation handman/installer to replace it please. I live in Weehawken, NJ.

Thank you

Jane

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see the entire operator assembly to determine if any of our folding handles would be compatible. As long as the window is unlocked, you should be able to carefully push it open to take a photo of the arms that move the sash before pulling it closed by hand. Thank you!

Thanks for getting back to us. We do not carry an exact match for your Pella operator but yours is similar to the 39-392 shown below. We offer the 39-491 folding handle and cover used with this assembly but Pella often makes subtle changes to the design of their parts. If you decide to give it a try and run into any issues, our return policy can be found here.
