Broken Pivot Shoes
Hello! I'm very confident you can use our 15-192 to replace your old pivot shoes. Check it out and let me know if you agree.
One thing to note is that the 15-192 is specifically designed for Certainteed brand windows. If that's what you have, then you should be good to go. However another brand called Simonton used a shoe almost identical to the Certainteed version with one small difference: the metal cam had a little notch in it. If you have Simonton windows then you should hold onto your old metal cams juuuust in case. You might need to reuse them. Better safe than sorry.
You're welcome! There is usually a name somewhere on the window, yes, but not always. It really just depends on circumstance. If you don't know which you have, then hold onto the metal cams just in case. If the 15-192 works without them, great. If you run into issues, though, then you can just reuse the old ones.
