Broken Spring on BB740 Window

Question

I was closing my window recently, and I heard a snap and plastic pieces flew everywhere. It looks like the balance mechanism is a spring with a plastic tube around it.

The first picture, Window Label, shows the label found on the window. Pictures Window 1-3 all show the broken spring. Window.jpg shows the actual window.

Window size is 61" high x 52" wide.

I assume I need to replace both springs in the window? Where can I get a list of what I need (I know I need the springs and the covers at a minimum)? And where can I buy them from?

Is there an install guide somewhere?

Thanks for posting, Leroy. Can you confirm the diameter of the outer tube? Looks like it has broken entirely off your balance, so see if you can measure one that is undamaged. If it's 3/8", we recommend our Series 900 spiral balance.
