Broken Tilt

Home Owner from Colorado
Hello, Recently the tilt broke and the spring came up the top of the window. The white plastic part sheared off so I do not have a complete image of that just pieces. It is a 1/2 inch; 30 inch long tilt but I am unsure which one would be best. I included the top view of the other side which is okay for now but I think I would just replace both at the same time. Any help in selecting the correct part would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there. I think we'll be able to help, but without see intact attachments to this balance it's difficult to make sense of what it might be. Could you remove the other balance in the window and send us pictures of the fittings on both ends? Also, is there any stamp on the metal channel we can see? With all that in hand, we should be able to narrow this down for you. Also, you are correct--generally when you replace one balance, it's best to replace both in the window. Otherwise, pairing a new balance with an old one will cause the new one to wear out more quickly. The video below shows how to remove and replace channel balances like this. Check it out.

Quick Learner
The stamp is 2930 S or C on the metal.

Thanks for your new photos. Based on what I see here, you have either our S380-30 or S385-30, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. I recommend measuring your shoe and referring to our dimensions to confirm the best match.
