Hello:
When my home was built in 1999 they installed Silverline windows with a lifetime warranty. When I opened one of my bedroom windows I noticed the chain was badly rusted and I was lucky to get the window to close. I have included a picture of the adjacent window. Is the window covered for replacement under warranty? If not how do I get a replacement chain ?

Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm afraid we don't know if your window is covered under a warranty. We don't manufacture windows, unfortunately.
However, we can still help with this. Since you have a tilt window, my recommendation would be the 3/8" diameter Series 900 or 5/8" diameter Series 600. You'll have to measure the outer tube on your old balance to determine the best match. You will also need to refer to the colored tip on your old balance to determine the proper tip color option.
