Broken Window Coil Spring

Hello, I have a broken window coil spring in my bathroom window. I am not sure what size I need. The window is smaller as it is a bathroom window. Thank you.

Hey there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. Your pivot shoe looks like a match for the 15-087. The Series 180 are the compatible coil springs. You'll have to check the spring band for a stamped number that indicates the spring weight.

I didn't see any marking on the coil spring. I estimate that the window weighs around 8 pounds.

If the window weighs 8 pounds, you can use one S180-04 4-pound spring on each side of the window. However, we recommend you weigh the window sash on a scale to confirm. Note that using the wrong spring weights will affect the operation of the window.
