Broken balance

Question

I have already sent another "expert" this info and have heard nothing back. Hopefully you can help. Enclosed is a pic of the original with stamp and a replacement i got based on google searching the number, obviously the incorrect one. Can you help? Note the original has wings the replacement one did not and it seemed like the hook part was upside down also.

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-27 or S385-27 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. Based on your stamp code, I suspect that you need 2630 spring strength options for your replacement balances but you may want to make sure that your sash weighs between 13 and 19 lbs to confirm.
