Measures 29" balancer with twine as tension string.
What to use ?
1/2 pivot shoe and 29 " #600 balancer ?

This is not a Series 600 balance. That is a spiral balance, while yours appears to be a channel balance. See our S770-29, I think you'll find this is a closer match.
