Broken casement window track guide

Quick Learner from Wisconsin
When opening this casement window I heard a snap noise and found that the bottom hinge portion of the sash is no longer sliding within what I am guessing is the track (see red boxes on image 1). Looking at the operator I was able to guess that its a Truth 31850 model (image 2) if that matters in this situation. I also looked at the window opposite to it which is functional and was able to identify the black plastic part that broke (green box in image 3). Is it possible to just replace this plastic piece or will the replacement be more involved?

Thanks!

Hi there!

I'm afraid we don't sell that black slider part by itself so you'll need an all new hinge. Compare the dimensions of our 36-048 to see if this matches up. Just be sure to replace the top and bottom hinges at the same time.

I completely forgot about this post honestly, ive gone back to measure the track on the hinge set currently on the window, it measures approximately 9 and a half inches. Can I still use a 10" replacement hinge? Ive looked several places and it seems that 10 inch is fairly standard where as 9 and a half is not.

Thanks!

Yes, this part should still work for you as long as you replace the top and bottom hinges at the same time.
