Broken channel balance

I'm afraid I don't recognize this balance. It looks similar in design to our Series 770, in that it installs at the top using a screw and attaches (presumably) to a pivot shoe using the terminal clip at the end of the cord. Does that sound familiar? If your balance operates this way then our Series 770 is what you want.

Your next step in that scenario would be to measure the length of the metal channel and pick the appropriate Series 770 size, then weigh your sash on a scale to determine the appropriate stamp option.

If the Series 770 doesn't function as your balance does, then I don't know what you need and would require a more detailed description of how your hardware works.

They do not. The only thing that's going to help at this stage are the physical details of the balance itself. The Series 770 remains my best guess, but it's still very different from your original and I cannot be sure it will work without knowing more about how your original hardware functions.
