Broken coil balance

Quick Learner from Long Island NY

The plastic casing of the coil balance broke and the coil unraveled and is on bottom of window see 20201201-142912 the place where it was supposed to be is viewed on 20201201-143018 the other side has the correct coil balance in place see 20201201-143041 the window sash weighs 16.6 lbs

what parts do I need? and how should I install them? do I need to remove the old coil balance?

Thanks

Since my sash weighs 16.6 lbs I am assuming the 8 Lb coils spring would work. What coil cover should I order with that and how do I install them
Thanks

You'll find our 15-143 bushing, 15-144 cap and 15-145 barrel related on the S152-8 product page, which are used to support the coils. I also agree that one  8 pound coil on each side of the window will support the sash weight you've provided.
