Broken coil silverline 9500 window

A home owner from NJ says:
I'm trying to determine the correct coil weight to order. The stamp on the coil appears to say "8KF" or "SKF" (see photo) and the coil housing pivot says ".8" (see other photo).

I weighed the sash and it is 14 lbs, but want to make sure the coil weight matches the coil I'm replacing.

I have ID'd the parts as 15-087 and the series 180 coil, just need to determine weight.

Thanks!

Hi there!

Since your sash is 14 pounds, you'd need two 7 pound coils. You can stick with 8 pounds if you want, but if your sash weighs 14 pounds you might want to consider going down to 7 pounds.
