Broken exterior sliding glass door handle bottom female hardware

Home Owner from Las Vegas, NV

Hello,

We need a replacement door handle for a Simonton sliding glass door purchased in 2005. The exterior handle, bottom female threshold is broken off. There is a double locking system with 2 hooks. The hardware inside the door jam is 9" long and the hole spacing is 3 15/16. I believe we can use the lock we have in the old handle.

I have a couple more photos of the double lock hardware but hopefully you can see from the diagram. The broken hardware is circled in dark red and pointed out by the ink pen. The door handles are beige in color.

I would be grateful for any guidance you can share with us.

Thank you,

Marcia

Thanks for reaching out to us, Marcia. We don't sell this exact handle set, but I feel confident that you could use our 82-030 as a replacement, along with our 82-310 key lock (sold separately). We also sell the 82-239 mortise lock.

Thank you Tom. I was thinking the same thing. I will order the handle and if our lock doesn't work I will order that at a later date. I think the Multi-Point Mortise Lock and Keeper if still in working order for now too.
