Broken latch

Home Owner from Geneva, IL

This piece broke off our door handle. It looks very similar to your Legacy lock. Could you confirm this for us.

This does remind me of the 82-107 Thumb Lever, commonly used with our legacy handle sets. Unfortunately we don't carry the thumb lever on its own in brass. If you want, you could go for an all-new handle set like our 82-087 or 82-090; just make sure the thumb lever is offset towards the lower screw hole, rather than perfectly centered between them. Send pictures of the handle set if you're uncertain. Also note such damage to a thumb lever can be indicative of a broken mortise lock. You may wish to remove the old handle set and try manually throwing the lock with a slotted screwdriver. If it doesn't budge, you will need to replace the mortise lock as well.
