Broken latches on sliding porch doors.

Question

Hi. The 2 inside latches broke off the sliding doors. Looks like 1 is broken off and the entire post came off. The post broke in half and half the post is stuck inside the door. Wondering if sliding door latch lever kit 82-107 is compatible .

Hello there. This does look the 82-107 Thumb Latch. Note that if the tailpiece of this latch broke, there's a good chance the mortise lock is broken and should be replaced. You can test this by removing the handle set, and then attempting to throw the lock with a slotted screwdriver. If it doesn't budge, you know the mortise lock needs to be swapped out. See our 82-226.
