Broken lever on vertical window

Dear Staff, I have a lever that broke off the locking mechanism on a vertical sliding window.

Hello again, that looks real close. The problem is where the latch has to catch. I'll check it out again. You guys are great. You were right on it.

Concerning the latch having no catch, that is actually pretty normal for this particular lock. The sweep tab usually fits under a little indent in the glazing bead of the top sash. I believe that will be the case for your window.
