Hello there. You can replace this thumb lever with the Andersen 82-043. However, you might want to make sure the lock in the door isn't jammed and the cause of the original lever breaking. To test this, remove the old thumb lever and try manually activating the lock in the door with a slotted screwdriver. If it doesn't budge, you know the lock might be the culprit here. It could be our 82-037, but you'll need to remove the old components and compare to confirm.
If the door is stuck in a locked position, this unfortunately can get tricky. You will need to hire a local pro to cut a hole and get the components out. Let us know if you have any other questions.
