Attached are several photos of my old Dado (approx 25 years) lockset. I think your part number 40-049 might be the correct replacement for it. Do you agree?

I agree that your hardware resembles the mortise lock that comes with the 40-049 lockset but you'll need to confirm that the dimensions shown below match up to your assembly. Thanks for posting.

One more question about dimensions. What is the width of the body of the lockset? That would be the part that goes inside the door. My old one is 1/2 inch.

The 40-049 mortise lock body also measures 1/2" wide.
