Broken metal clip

My metal hook/clip is broken. It?s the one that attaches to the cord. Can I get a replacement clip?

any tips to help in replacing the broken metal clip would be appreciated. looks pretty straight forward, just releasing the spring and tying onto the new clip.

Sure! We like to extend the cord and then carefully lock it into a vise. It's important to make sure its secure because these cords are under a lot of tension. If you pull them out and they get away from you, they'll snap back into the channel and could damage either the hardware or take an eye out. Make sure to wear gloves and goggles to be safe.

Once it's secured in the vise, you just untie it and tie the new one back on. Make sure you're holding onto the cord firmly when you release it, then gently let it retract into the balance.
