Broken metal tab

Quick Learner from Christiansburg Virginia
I have several broken tabs that fit into the window and the slide in the window frame. See the photo.

Thanks,
Joe

Looks like an old pivot bar. I cannot identify what you have from this photo, however. Do you have an undamaged version that we can see? If so, I'd like a clear photo of it fully removed from the window. That will allow us to track down a good replacement.

I'm afraid to remove the tab from a functional window but I have some additional photos that may be helpful.

I'm afraid these new photos don't tell us much. Without seeing the original pivot bar whole and undamaged, I'm not sure what to recommend for you.

I managed to get another unbroken window out and pivot bar removed. See pics.

Absolutely perfect, thank you! This looks like a dead ringer for our 26-336, which makes me think this is a Simonton window. Look it over and let me know if you agree!

It's my pleasure! Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

26-336 has three screw holes, while mine only has two. Based on the scale provided, the holes appear to line up with the existing pivot bar, so I have ordered two pivot bars.

Thanks for your help!
