Broken mortise lock spring

The spring that holds out the latch (and holds up the handle) of the mortise lock on my pella storm door is broken. However, this latch does not look to be the right one; the width of the faceplate on the mortise lock is only about 9/16" to 5/8", definitely not 13/16". Can you help me identify the correct mortise lock so I can order a replacement?

Sure, I'd be happy to help. Can you remove your mortise lock from the door and take a few pictures of it separately? That will help us locate the best possible replacement.
