Thanks for posting. I am afraid these track slides are not sold separately. When these break, the entire hinge set in the window should be replaced. See the 10" 36-004-10 Hinge Set. See if this matches what you have.

36-004-10 is not what I need. My part is stamped
HG04-2000. Do you have that part? What does it look like?

Attached is a photo of a of the bottom of a good window. The circled (defective) part shown in my initial text to SWISCO is located at the extreme right of the holding mechanism shown in the new photo. I understand from a rep at home depot that I will probably need thé entire bottom holding strip shown in this photo.

Hey there, Bob's not here today but I will do my best to assist you.

As Bob described in his first response, the part you want is a hinge slide. These are not sold separately in any capacity, so you will need an all new hinge.

We don't sell your exact hinge, so the 36-004-10 is going to be our proposed alternative. The two criteria that you need to meet are to first check to make sure the base track is the same size at 10". You also need to replace the top and bottom at the same time; you never mix old and new hinges.
