Broken piece at top edge of window.

There is one on each window corner. Probably needed to grab/hold the balance when closing down the window. I took this out of a customers window and didn't think to take a picture of it attached to the window.

This is called a top sash guide. I'm not sure what yours is without knowing more precise dimensions, but start by looking at our 18-166. Could this work for you? Carefully review our dimensions and see what you think .
