Broken pivot bar and coil balance shoe

Question

Looking at the pictures I think I need 26-030 pivot bar and 15-175 coil balance shoe.
Can I cut the frame out just enough to attach the new balance shoe to the spring?

I agree with your choices, just be sure to compare our dimensions to yours to make sure they match up.

You'll have to take out your pivot shoe to attach it to your spring, but take a look at the video below. It shows you how to remove your pivot shoe using the cutout method.
