Broken pivot shoe

I have a Regency Window (bought out by Window Nation in Cleveland OH). The window model is a Prestige. I looked at all the types of pivot shoes sold and I don't see this one. I need help. We are in the middle of selling our house and I am trying to fix this window. It appears that the spring attaches to the interior side of the window. I attached a photo of the coil spring, spring and the pivot shoe.

I forgot to list that I did measure the pivot shoe and roughly it measures 1/2" thick, 1 1/4" high, 1 1/4" wide, approximately.

Hey there!

We don't sell this pivot shoe. However, the 15-191 may be worth considering. This is 1-1/4" wide and 1/2" thick. The Series 160 are the springs designed to be used with this part. I recommend checking the spring for a stamped weight code. If there isn't one, you must weigh the window sash and divide the weight by the number of springs in the window.

If I replace the broken one and can reuse the spring do I need to replace the other side?

I'm afraid your old springs aren't compatible with our shoe. We recommend replacing the balances and pivot shoes on both sides of the window so that they're the same as well.

Ok, thanks for your time. Not exactly what I wanted to hear but, now I know the task at hand. I hope I can get this done before our house sells. I will weigh the window sash and get a weight. I did not want to remove the coil spring because I didn't want it to fly apart. Right about the spring there is a screw that I have no idea what it does or it it's connected to the spring. Didn't want to make a bigger problem than I already have.
