The mechanism in my window has broken in two places (equally on each side), in what seems to be plastic pulley type pieces? There is a metal channel on each side of the window that has 27TGX on it, and contained a long spring on the inside.
The string inside the window channel is loose and will not hold the window weight anymore.

Based on your photos, it looks like these will need to be a custom order. This is a very similar design to our S751-28 (27TG) channel balance but it looks like the shoe may be a different style than what comes with this assembly.
We'll need to see the shoe fully removed from the window jamb to confirm it has the same "U" shape as our 15-197. You'll note right away that ours is black, not red, but that shouldn't matter. I've used the black version to replace the red before and I found that it worked perfectly well.
We'll need to confirm how the top of the balance attaches to the window. These often sure a rivet at the top to accommodate either the 19-029 or 19-030 S-clip. Lastly, we'll need to know the number of balances you need, with the minimum being two. Thank you.
