Broken sash pivot, 6236 printed on it.

Question

This metal assembly appears to have a broken end. It's stuck about halfway up the side of the window track. Online it says this is the 'locked' position and to fix I need to insert flathead screwdriver and turn the 'U' shape into a 'C' shape. There's no U or C shape because it's broken off. Help!

Unfortunately, your pivot bar has been discontinued. You might be able to substitute our 26-021 pivot bar. We need to see your pivot shoe cam without the pivot bar in it to confirm, though. Can you send a photo?
