Broken sash window balance

Question

I posted about this a few months ago and was told I'd probably need a custom balance to replace our broken sash window balances. If so can I get a quote for balances to replace these? Thank you so much!

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! Yes, that is correct. The balances you have here are an 86 style Caldwell channel balance. The wingless version of this balance is no longer made but the wings on the replacements should not impede on the function of the window.

To get the quote sent over, I'll just need to know the number of balances you'd like to purchase. The quantity minimum is (2) balances.
