Broken slider door latch

A quick learner from Chandler, AZ says:
This is a picture of a broken slider door latch at a rental property. Haven't been out to the property yet. The latch is too loose and drops by itself -- thus locking the door by itself. Not sure of the manufacturer on the door. Thanks for your help! -- Dave

It sounds to me like you just need a new mortise. I recommend either our 82-211 or 82-214, depending on size. You'll have to measure the original to confirm which one is better.
