Broken sliding glass door lock

My glass door lock isn't latching. Hava ST rental and someone probably closed the door hard with the latch up. Need to find a replacement for this piece. It has a canadian patent from 1973 on it. Can't find a brand but need help with what to replace it with.  Thank you
