The plastic tips at top of both balances on window have broken off and I need
replacements. Cannot find any manufacturers name or markings on windows--no idea who made or Installed them. Looks like your S900-23 would be a good match however the tip on broken balances is ivory.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for posting, Pat! Do the dimensions of your balance match those of the S900-23? If so, then all I'll need to know is the weight of your window sash in order to determine the proper tip color. Please remove the sash from the window and place it on a scale--any common bathroom scale should do.

Thank you for your prompt response to my earlier question - reference # 20471.
The balances are for a tilt window. The tube measures 3/8'' diameter and 22 7/8'' in length. Just weighed sash at 17 lbs. And tip is ivory.
This could have changed over time I suppose, but it is definitely not red, green, blue or black.
Thanks , Pat

Thanks for posting! In that case, I would recommend the Red Tip. This can carry a window sash weight range of 7 through 21 pounds.
Please keep in mind that the weight range information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
