Broken spring

Question

When I purchased this home one of the storm door handles wouldn't return. I took it apart today and the spring is broken. Is this your door and do sell new springs?

Hello! We actually don't make or sell doors, just door hardware. Your specifically looks like its Cole Sewell brand, but they're no longer in business. There's a good chance you won't find an exact match for this.

Fortunately, we carry a ton of parts that can work just as well. We don't have the spring itself, but we do have the 40-150 inside handle. If the spring is the only issue then just replacing the inside handle ought to fix everything.

If you wanted an all new handle set, I've had other customers tell me that our 40-152 works well as a replacement for this style.
