Broken spring mechamism

The lower aluminum window will open , but will not stay up by itself . The brand is NUAIR , house built in 1995 . Info on sticker in window is CODE-NUA , SPEC DH-R30/R35 , SERIES 900, MST 4533/45555 . LOWER WINDOW MEASURES 50" WIDTH , 36" WIDE

Hello,
It sounds like your balance may need to be recharged or replaced. If you could remove your balance form the window and take some pictures of the balance and both end attachments, we should be able to identify which balance you need. Thank you!
